After a day's biking relax and take advantage of the sheltered terrace and large gardens with garden furniture and outdoor games. On the first floor, next to the bedrooms, a guest salon with maps, library and board games are at your disposal.

A bar, restaurant and shops are just 200m away and there is a wide choice of bars and restaurants in nearby Alençon.

Ancinnes is located in the Normandie Maine Park between the Perche and the Alpes Mancelles, a perfect base for exploring Lower Normandy and the Sarthe. 10 minutes from the A28, Alençon and Mamers, it is also an excellent stopover en route to and from the Channel ports. The famous Chateau de Carrouges is a short drive away.

Le Mans is just 30 minutes (40km) away or 40 minutes by car to the racing circuit - even quicker by bike!

There are wonderful routes for bikers in all directions from La Basse Cour and throughout the region - winding roads in excellent condition with little traffic. We are particularly popular with bikers who come to stay with us for the Le Mans 24 Heures Moto, the Moto GP de France and other biking events at the famous Le Mans circuit, which is just to the south of us.

We can offer secure undercover storage of your bike during your stay. If you want two wheels at a slower pace during your stay we can lend you a couple of mountain bikes to explore the forest.
