La Grange Ancienne Bed & Breakfast

Andrew & Theresa have renovated this barn into an enchanting property which includes two double en-suite guest rooms with their own patio area.

Both rooms are furnished to a very high standard and include the following - bed linen, towels, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. There is Sky TV in each room and access to wi-fi internet.

A solar heated swimming pool is available and includes a heated outdoor shower. There is a large oak decking area and plenty of sun loungers, chairs and tables to relax on during a hot summers day (as well as a couple of hammocks).

Andrew has also created a wonderful summerhouse which features a four person jacuzzi spa, as well as a kitchen area, which includes a fridge to keep those drinks well chilled and a sink for clearing up after a satisfying bbq by the pool!

Beauty Treatments

Theresa is a qualified Beautician and is able to provide treatments within her Treatment Room from facials to aromatherapy.

Tarif

There are two double en-suite rooms available for a charge of €45 for two, including continental breakfast.
A full English breakfast is available for an additional charge of €7 per person.
Dinner is also available for a charge of €16 per person for a three course meal which includes a bottle of wine per couple. Vegetarian and gluten free diets catered for.

We have owned the property since 2005 having previously renovated a Mill House in Confolens.
There is a small village nearby at Montrollet, where there is a bar/restaurant situated close to the picturesque lake, which is within walking distance.

We have also constructed a 3 storey Tower to rent as a self contained gite the price is €395 May-June & Sept/Oct and €450 July & August. See our website for full details.

Situated within the highest point of the Charente, Montrollet and its surrounding area offers excellent walks (randonees) through the forests and around numerous lakes or alternatively if you prefer not to put on your walking shoes, you can always explore the area on two wheels!
