Located in the heart of the historic town, by the city hall gardens and facing the business district, Au Coeur de Bordeaux is a former “hôtel de charme”, a 19th century refurbished building. It offers 3 rooms (for 2 persons) and 2 suites (for up to 4 persons), a gastronomic host table, a wine cellar and a lounge area.
It is an embassy of Bordeaux’ “Art de vivre”. You will feel home in the French South Western style; each room is unique, furnished with antiques and decorated with taste; the wine cellar stores delicious wines and wine tasting can be arranged upon request by our wine expert partner.
Rooms are fitted with private bathrooms (walk in shower or bath tub), mini-bars, flat screen TVs, 5”3/160cm beds (and 4”9/140cm or 2x3”/90cm beds for the suites). The ground floor room is accessible to disabled customers. Internet is available in the whole building as well as printer/fax/scanner/copier.
In the evening, upon request, a fine diner can be organized (minimum 4 persons). Owners will cook for you; delicious dishes made out of fresh local products and tasty Bordeaux wines will be served; Silverware will meet crystal glasses at the table. Food can be shapes to the hosts’ cultural and dietary needs.
Owners spent 13 years overseas, expatriate in many different countries; they know to adapt to their hosts’ expectations and are available anytime, living in the upper floors. They propose a fusion between the quality of a of classy hotel and the warmth of a “maison bourgeoise” filled with history.
