Our Bed & Breakfast L’Orangerie Carcassonne is housed in a magnificently restored “maison de maitre’ from the 18th century in which many original features have been preserved. Our 5 spacious guest rooms retain the atmosphere from the past but possess modern day comforts. In our beautiful garden you can enjoy several terraces as well as our lovely heated pool and Jacuzzi and there is plenty of space to quietly relax. You can park your car in our private (closed off) yard.

Our Orangerie is a spacious and stunning space that is intended for the use of our guests and also the eye-catcher of the house. During spring and autumn breakfast and ‘table d’hotes’ will be served in the Orangerie but, in summer, meals will be served outside.

We are located in the quiet village of Montlegun, an excellent base from which to visit the numerous sights and attractions in the direct vicinity. The medieval “Cité de Carcassonne” which is listed as a Unesco World Heritage Site, is located 2.5 kilometres away. We are in Cathar Country and at the centre of 5 different wine regions. Enjoy the magnificently flowing vineyards and taste the delicious wines!

The area offers numerous possibilities. Relaxation, culture, nature, the Mediterranean, the Pyrenees, etc. Everything within easy reach.

We have 5 spacious guest rooms.

Four of these are on the First Floor and one, a very spacious suite, is in the loft. Rooms 1, 2 and 4 will accommodate a maximum of 2 guests. Rooms 3 and 5 (the loft suite) will accommodate a maximum of 4 guests. Both consist of 2 separate bedrooms, a bathroom and toilet.

Each room has it’s own style and offers all possible comforts. All rooms have comfortable box spring beds measuring 160cm x 200cm which are made up with white bed linen. It is also possible to arrange 2 beds separately (80cm x 200cm).

All rooms have a spacious and modern en-suite bathroom equipped with both a rain and a hand shower and a separate toilet. The loft suite has both a spacious shower cubicle and bathtub. In addition, all bathrooms are also equipped with a towel dryer, hairdryer, lovely shower products and soft white towels. We also provide dedicated towels for use at the swimming pool / Jacuzzi.

Each room also offers free WIFI and coffee and tea making facilities.
