Quintinha Mojud

Quintinha Mojud is a small and cosy B&B within the Costa Vicentina nature park and in walking distance to the beach and the next village. It has 3 rooms, a double, a single and a dormitory 4 bed room, which can also be booked as a twin room, a garden with sunbeds and hammocks and a covered terrace.

The Rota Vicentina hiking trail is very close by.

You can walk to a beautiful sandy beach in about half an hour ( 2.5 km) and to the next village Rogil with little shops, restaurants, bars and a pharmacy it's about 5-10 minutes walk.

The Costa Vicentina with its stunning unspoiled beaches is a fantastic place for surfers as well as for sun- and beach lovers.

The village of Aljezur is about 10 minutes drive away and offers a nice historical centre, a supermarket and a spectacular view from the old fortress ruin.

In Lagos, about 30 minutes drive away, you can shop, go for boat tours or enjoy the night life. In less than 15 minutes drive you enter the southern Alentejo with even more beaches, which are also in summer not crowded.

Also Monchique and the Foia, the highest point of the Algarve with beautiful views over the whole southwest Algarve are only about 30 kms away.

Quintinha Mojud offers bicycle rental, laundry service, a small outside kitchen, massages and free Wi-Fi. You can book the rich vegetarian breakfast buffet in the morning which is offered in the big dining/ living room.

In winter the house is heated.
I can help with the organisation of surf equipment or the renting of a car. Also horse riding or walks with donkeys can be organised.

Sao Teotonio, Aljezur and Lagos offer interesting markets once a month with many regional products and every Saturday Aljezur has a big farmers market with fresh veggies, self baked bread, cakes, jams and much more.

There are plenty of birds all around and bird watchers love it and on the beaches on the cliffs storks are nesting and raising their young.

There are parking places on the property and a bus stop in Rogil.

Part of the crew are 2 dogs and 2 cats.
