La Balbina is everyone's idea of a perfect rural retreat. Set in a small Cantabrian village it has the cosy atmosphere of a traditional country inn.
It has an independent dining room to have home made breakfast and where the client can taste typical local products.
The furniture has been recovered by the owners giving to each piece a unique value. Using also nature materials.
Our accommodation comprises 6 rooms and 2 apartments.
La Balbina is located in the Pas - Miera area, which is an ideal country side location to offer an excellent base for discovering the hidden treasures of the area.
We aim to keep things simple and let you relax.
La Balbina was a legendary carriage house, where the travelers used to rest on their way to Burgos.
The old road with its diverse landscape waiting to be discovered, is at the foot of the house and it is now use to go for a walk close to nature, trekking, etc...
Cabarceno Park, 17 Km / 10 miles
The Park of the Nature of Cabárceno is one of the most visited places in Cantabria, in the North of Spain. Is a place where you can enjoy watching animals in an almost completely free state. The park is prepared with roads, to walk around or to circulate with vehicles.
