Alora Valley View

Alora Valley View, highly rated on Tripadvisor, is located in a delightful rural area on the outskirts of Alora, one of the famous white villages found in Malaga province. The accommodation is made up of one large self-catering holiday apartment and two bed and breakfast rooms. Being a small business I am able to offer a personal service which means that my guests really can relax and enjoy the surroundings especially the amazing views over the valley towards the mountains of La Huma and El Torcal.

This local area where I live is known as El Valle del Sol, literally The Valley of the Sun, and it certainly lives up to its name as day time temperatures in our pretty town of Alora will be in the region of 23C to 32C all the way from April through to October with lovely warm evenings finishing off the days.

Summers are perfect for lazing by the pool, maybe with a glass of something cold in your hand or maybe having a day out on the beach, whilst the more temperate days of what gets called winter, but would probably be compared to Autumn in the UK, are ideally suited to enjoying activities such as walking, mountain biking, horse riding etc which are all available locally. Come and spend some time here and see what attracted me to this beautiful area of Alora in Andalusia.

Alora, as well as having its own fascinating history and character, is very conveniently situated giving visitors easy access to a diverse range of holiday attractions such as the impressive and popular caves at Nerja, the beautiful and historic city of Malaga, the beaches of the Costa del Sol from Torremolinos through to Marbella and Puerto Banus to name but a few.

Closer at hand we have the area around El Chorro which includes a series of man made reservoirs where you can swim, fish and canoe and where there are also plenty of opportunities for walking, mountain biking and rock climbing. The jewel in the crown of this area is the recently renovated Caminito del Rey or Kings Walkway known as one of the world’s scariest footpaths, not for the faint hearted!

A bit further afield, by car or train are destinations such as Sevilla, Granada and Cordoba, some of the most historic and cultural cities in Spain and even the capital Madrid is only a couple of hours away by high speed train. Alora really does give easy access to everything that the Costa del Sol and Andalusia has to offer.
