Combining elegant contemporary style with individual service, One Thornbury Boutique Accommodation has been created in a ‘Character’ listed home, built in 1886 in Spring Hill.

At One Thornbury we offer a tropical-style lounge and breakfast room, equipped with Large Screen TV with cable coverage (Foxtel). A chef-inspired continental breakfast is provided to all guests as well a complimentary all-day espresso (pod) coffee and tea service. A light-meal service is also available at most times.

One Thornbury is located within a comfortable walking distance from the Brisbane CBD, Central Rail Station, Southbank Precinct, Queensland Art Gallery, Gallery of Modern Art, the City Botanic Gardens, restaurants, transport, shopping centres, exciting night-life and all that Brisbane has to offer.

Also very conveniently close to Royal Brisbane Hospital, St Andrews Hospital and Brisbane Private Hospital.

While staying with us you can explore the city or just relax in our quiet tropical garden lounge.

For the sports-minded we are also in close proximity to Suncorp Stadium and the GABBA.

There are a number of ways to reach
One Thornbury

From both Brisbane International and Domestic airports there is an excellent rapid Skytrain service which takes approximately 20-minutes to reach the City.

We are happy to arrange complimentary limo pick-up from Central Station (Must be pre-arranged). It is possible to walk from Central Station a distance of about 800 metres.

Alternately from the airport, you could either utilise the Coachtrans airport shuttle-bus service which will drop you to the door. A taxi from either airport will cost approximately $40/$45.

If you’re travelling by Train - take the train to Central Station. One Thornbury is approximately an eight minute walk, or an $8.00 taxi fare.

If you’re travelling to One Thornbury by car, travel along St Paul’s Terrace and turn into either Warren or Gloucester Street, both streets intersect with Thornbury Street. We are located on the corner of Gloucester and Thornbury Streets.

As a special guest service and subject to availability a complimentary limo drop-off/pick-up can be scheduled to most venues/locations in the City precinct (up to 5kms). Other transit arrangements can be provided for a modest charge.

On street parking is available in the surrounding streets. Fees apply from 8:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday at $8.50 per day. All other times no-charges apply. Complimentary meter payment till 10 am (check-out time) to allow you to sleep in.
