Gullane is a very pretty and unspoilt village on the coast of East Lothian, well served by several excellent golf courses including Muirfield, a mere 21ft away from our front door. Gullane has three courses of her own and courses within 25 minutes' drive include The Renaissance, Archerfield, Dunbar, North Berwick and Luffness New Course courses.
Gullane village has a number of excellent shops as well as tea and coffee shops. There are several very good restaurants within walking distance of Muirfield Green to suit all tastes and budgets. We will always be happy to advise and make bookings/organise taxis etc. for you.
The beach at Gullane is very popular with walkers and families. Those wishing to explore the countryside further may embark on the John Muir trail, a series of linked and sign posted paths which take you along the coast line through villages and ancient harbours.
Take in ruined castles incl Dirleton and Tantallon and stop for a pub lunch along the way!
The beautiful city of Edinburgh is a short distance away by train, taking only 17 minutes from Longniddry or 20 minutes from Drem stations. A bus service runs hourly from our doorstep straight into the centre. Driving to Edinburgh is possible within 45 minutes and we are 50 minutes from Edinburgh airport.
