Gardenrose B&B would like to welcome you to the small town of Maybole. Gardenrose B&B is an ideal base for exploring the county as it is on the A77 and has excellent transport links to Ayr, Stranraer, Glasgow and the surrounding towns and villages.

We are in an ideal situation to explore the county and all that it has to offer - Culzean Castle and Country Park, Crossraguel Abbey, the Burns Heritage Centre in Alloway and Rabbie Burns country are just a few examples within easy reach. We are surrounded by the beautiful Ayrshire countryside, which offers many opportunities for walking, cycling and sightseeing. Enjoy the scenery of the Ayrshire coastline with views to Arran, Ailsa Craig, the Kintyre Peninsula and, on clear days, Ireland.

We are close to three wedding venues - Culzean Castle, Dalduff Farm and Blairquhan Castle .

There are many golf courses within easy reach of Gardenrose B&B - Turnberry, Prestwick and Royal Troon - to name but a few. Maybole, itself, has a 9 hole municipal golf course with great views of the area.

The house itself was built in 1911 in the Arts & Crafts style for a local shoe factory owner and, being in an elevated position, has great views over the town to the hills beyond. We are a 2 minute walk to the buses and the railway station. There is a good local taxi service for guests attending weddings at Dalduff Barn or Culzean Castle.

There are several good eating establishments in the surrounding area and there are 2 new eateries in Maybole.

Gardenrose B&B has 2 large, luxury bedrooms with en-suite facilities.

The Glasgow Room

This room is named after the style of the Glasgow School at the turn of the 20th century, with original panelling, plaster frieze and fireplace. It has a superking size zip-link bed and an en-suite shower room. This room can be set up as a double, twin room. It is also suitable for single occupancy. The room is to the front of the house with views over the town to the hills.

The Oriental Room

This room, as suggested, has an oriental theme with superking size bed and a luxury en-suite bathroom with walk-in overhead shower and egg-shaped bath The room is to the rear of the house with views to the garden and across the valley.

The rate for both rooms is £100 per room per night including a full breakfast.
Single occupancy is charged at £80 per night B&B.

This includes luxury bedding, hairdryer, Flat screen TV, free Wi-Fi, hospitality tray with home baking.

We also provide a guest lounge, with an open log fire, where residents can sit back and relax.

Regrettably we are unable to accommodate children and we do not cater for pets.

We have no facilities to take credit or debit cards. We accept cash or cheque. There are 5 ATMs in Maybole.

There is ample parking available in the driveway.
