Situated in Llangadog the Goose and Cuckoo is ideal as a stopping of point whilst visiting the Brecon Beacons or for one of the many activities in the area such as fishing for trout and salmon on the Towy or perhaps bird watching with the Red Kite Feeding Centre in Llanddeusant very close, walking, cycling , golf etc. The river Sawdde which runs through Llangadog is very popular with canoeists during spate conditions.
Handy for the coast and the many historical houses and market towns such as Llandovery and Llandeilo The Goose and Cuckoo is easily reached off the A40 or by train with a station within walking distance.
Why not visit the National Botanic Gardens of Wales, Newton House, Aberglasney, Carreg Cennen Castle or many of the other castles nearby.
We are about and hour and a half from Cardiff, 30 mins from Swansea and the same distance to Carmarthen.
