Watergrist Mill is offering you first class accommodation. The Mill is an annexe of the owners main house.

Rhayader is a delightful market town next to the River Wye in the heart of mid Wales.

We are situated at the bottom of Water Lane, next to the River Wye.
The Mill dates back 150 years. The converted mill is full of features and character, and combines stunning views with tranquil settings.

We are a 5 minutes drive from the beautiful Elan Valleys offering stunning views and unspoilt walks. We are 20 minutes from Builth Wells and the Royal Welsh Agricultural Showground, and 50 minutes from the coastal town of Aberystwyth. We are 15 minutes from the spa town of Llandrindod Wells.

Your Suite comprises its own private entrance through French Doors.
You enter your private Mill from your own entrance decking, straight into your lounge with its own Inglenook fireplace and log burner. A Victorian cast iron spiral staircase takes you up to your large bedroom and en suite bathroom. The bedroom has a Kingsize bed and a single pull out Z-bed for an extra guest.

The bathroom has a bath with shower head, sink and WC.
Please Note: Although the bath has a shower head, the height is restricted due to the sloping roof of the bathroom.

We provide tea & coffee making facilities. You will also find a small fridge which is replenished daily with your 'help yourself' light breakfast. This consists of cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt and juice.

There are plenty of cafes in Rhayader offering a full cooked breakfast if this is what you prefer. These cafes are 5 minutes walk.

We have a large parking area for off street parking and can offer a lock up for bicycles. We do not allow dogs into the property, but you are welcome to bring ONE dog if you are happy for him/her to sleep in your vehicle.

We ask for shoes to be removed on entering, and do not allow smoking inside the property.

We are positioned next to the river. You can take your coffee or bottle of wine and walk down the 50 metre footpath to enjoy next to the river Wye, on a secluded river beach.

Please note:Due to the nature of the cast iron staircase,the property is not suitable for children under 8 years old or anybody with restricted mobility.

It is also quite tricky to transfer large suitcases up the spiral staircase.
