York Rose Bed and Breakfast. We are a family run bed and breakfast situated at Kexby village on the A1079 main York to Hull road. We are ideally located for visitors to York and the surrounding area.
York offers plenty for all the family, with York Minster, which is one of the great cathedrals of the world, with its vast spaces, beautiful music, stunning glass The Minster is one not to be missed, The Shambles are also a well loved attraction for visitors to York, The Castle Museum, Yorkshire Museum, and York Art Gallery are also worth a look. York Dungeons, ancient monuments, Theatres and cinemas. You could take a walk through the city at night with one of the Ghost tours! There is loads to see and do something for everyone.
It is ideally situated for many Stately Homes and Gardens including Castle Howard, which is one of the most beautiful historic houses in England with its antique collection, beautiful grounds, fountains, lakes and gardens. There is also a lovely coffee shop for after your walk around the grounds. Duncombe Park, Nunnington Hall, Beningbrough Hall and many more are within easy reach. Elvington Yorkshire Air Museum is only 3 miles away. It is the largest independent air museum in Britain and is also the location of The Allied Air Forces Memorial, well worth a visit.
We offer a full English breakfast, rooms are ensuite rooms with freeview TV, tea and coffee making facilities. There is wi-fi available and a separate lounge for guests to relax after enjoying themselves all day. Local pubs offer excellent evening meals approx 1 miles away. We also have off road parking.
