Les Dryades
          Charming Bed and Breakfast room with ensuite bathroom, on the ground floor of a beautiful house surrounded by greenery and English style garden, with french window opening to a large terrace sheltered by a fig tree.  
           
          One room available, sleeps 2 in a double bed but has enough room for another single bed for a 3rd person (child or adult) 
           
          At just a few feet from the forest, it is especially serene and the starting point of well known walking circuits delving into the local Messigny forest.  
           
          Situated at 7 to 8 km north-west from the well known city of Dijon - with its world famous Mustard and Gingerbread - it is perfectly suited for a combination for rest and cultural visits to the city's old quarter, museums, churches and cathedrals.  
           
          A recently established bus service takes you from next to our house straight to the city centre after a 20 min ride  
           
          Antiquities, shops, wine cellars, Gingerbread and local sweet delicacies, the famous Maille Mustard shop, fashion and jewellery outlets, local eateries and wine bars all at the heart of the city easily accessible on foot or bike 
           
          Major starting point for the Route de Grands Crus, a picturesque route that will take you through the villages which produce the world's most renowned wines with its chateaux, wineries and their cellars where you can sample and purchase the original 'crus' and beautiful views of the vineyards which produce them 
           
          Splendid tours in the nearby Vallée de l'Ouche offer magnificent views of imposing Château edifices which dot the surrounding country-side such as Sainte Sabine, chateau de Barbirey and its gardens and many more in every small village on the route 
           
          Enjoy relaxing on a péniche, which will take you along the Ouche River through luxuriant greenery, small water locks and breathtaking views of the region. 
          Golf courses and riding centre available at a 10km distance 
           
          Table d'hôte possible with Greek and/or local specialties. 
           Evening meals and/or lunch are available by prior arrangement for 25€ (3 course meal including a glass of wine and coffee/tea) 
          Greek, home-made and Burgundy products are on display and available for sale on the premises 
           
          Permanent display of paintings by Russian artist Larissa Evanova available for sale (they can be shipped to any address ) You can view some of her work on her Facebook page 'Larissa Evanova' 
           
          Also available garage space, bicycles and free Wi-Fi.
