B&B 'La Couze'

Our b&b consists of 1 bedroom, 1 bed/sitting room and a private bathroom, together 43m². The biggest bedroom has queen size bed (160×200). The second room has 2 single sofa beds (90×200) or a queen size bed, like this we are very suited for 2 couples. To your request we can also add an extra bed or a baby bed. The bathroom has a spacious shower and there are a hair-dryer, towels, soap and shampoo available. In the bed/sitting room you’ll find a Senseo, water cooker, microwave and television with French channels.

Every morning we serve breakfast in the communal living room. From there you can access the balcony and there is a garden with a slide and big trampoline. Breakfast is included in the price. Do you have any allergies or are you a vegetarian/vegan? Please tell us in advance and we will adapt the breakfast with pleasure. Our breakfast consists of organic, local, home-made and artisanal products. You can also sit in our charming living room just to read a book near the cosy fireplace. There is free WiFi connection available throughout the house, and you can park your car in our garden.

We do not allow smoking or pets in our house. We already have 2 cats. Our house lies 35 meters of a departmental road. The rooms are situated at the back of the house.

We are a 15 minute walk away from the little village of Champeix:
Champeix is situated in the Puy de Dome, in between the Sancy Massif and the well known ‘Chaine des Puys’, the famous volcano chain that is currently nominated to be on the Unesco world heritage list. In the winter you can go skiing and in summer this is a paradise for hikers. Flyers and other tourist information are available at our b&b.

Champeix is known for his many gardens and the little castle, located at the top of the village. From our b&b it’s a 15 minute walk to the centre of Champeix and from there a few 10 minutes to the castle. Every Friday morning there is a market. Every Wednesday evening in July and August there’s a ‘marché nocturne’ with several artisanal stands and animation.
